I know this may not be the best place to ask for info about a ACRT, but as it is the forerunner of the TACR, I'll try anyway.

Does anybody out there know anything about the S2A based ACRTs ? I've got the remains of one of these, and would like to try to restore it.

The only info I have found so far, are a few magazine articles (from LRE and LRM). I'd love to see technical doc and/or user manuals and other detailed tech info...

The prototype may hav been based on a civilian S2, but the ACRTs were military machines. AFAIK, the production versions were based on the 109" military model (Rover 9 or Rover 11)

Mine has all the fire equipment revoced, and the rear xmember has been replaced with a civilian spec one. I intend to rebuild it, but need more info to be able to do it right...

Hi Ketil,

I may have some info on the ACRT if you are still looking. I will have a look if you like. I have a collection of various RAFFS hand books etc as a TACR-1 owner so you never know. Failing that do you want to sell it to me as I'd rather like one?!

Cheers,

Paul
